Opening Spring 2026
Our new website is almost ready. Be the first to know when our ovens open and grab a launch offer reserved only for early subscribers.
Get UpdatesHearth & Grain is a small, family-run bakery built around one simple idea: good bread takes time. Every loaf is naturally leavened with our 12-year-old sourdough starter, fermented slowly for 36 hours and baked in a stone-deck oven. We use flour milled from regional wheat, butter from a nearby dairy and coffee roasted just down the road.
When our website launches, you will be able to browse the daily menu, pre-order loaves for pick-up, book a place in our weekend baking classes and read stories from the local growers who supply us. Until then, here is a taste of what to expect.

Flaky croissants, cardamom buns and espresso made with beans from a local micro-roaster.
Reserve your bread the night before and collect it warm on your way to work, no queue needed.
Hearth & Grain started in our home kitchen, sharing loaves with neighbours over the fence. Demand grew faster than our little oven could handle, so we are opening a real bakery on the corner of Market Street.
To bake honest, nourishing bread and make our bakery a place where neighbours meet.
A local food community where every ingredient can be traced back to someone we know by name.
"The best sourdough I have had outside of a holiday in France. The crust alone is worth the trip."
"Their cardamom buns sold out in twenty minutes at the school fair. I am counting the days."
